How can a student sign onto a waitlist, and how will a student be notified of an open seat?

During the registration process in SSB, if a class reaches it “regular” limit, and has a waitlist max, then the students are “prompted” to join the waitlist.

When a seat opens up, the student is notifed at their SJU e-mail account with the following message:

A seat is available for you in the class shown below. You must confirm via The Nest that you accept or decline this seat before the deadline expires. If you miss the deadline, you will need to put yourself back on the waitlist for the class.

Students have 24 hours to accept the seat, otherwise it goes to the next person.

You may view Waitlist Notification Info through:

Form: SFIWLNT

Date fields for notification of open seat and expiration date and time of the offer.
